14. Norwegian Forest Cat
Coming from the cold forests of Northern Europe, it becomes clear why this breed has a long, water-shedding coat. Norwegian Forest cats have this coat in order to protect themselves from the cold, but now they are just admired for the beauty of it.
Their coat is not the only thing that they inherited, their personality also reflects their past. These cats can be very independent and they pretty much decide when they will let you be their company. But they can be social and cuddly, you just need to leave it up to them to decide when. They are also quite sensitive but adaptable to change and they will love to be outside and play in the snow.
